Ideas Portal
A version of the parent portal for students where older students could access their portal without payment, statements, and other accounting information. My older dancers would like access to their costumes descriptions where I list accessories needed, calendar info, access their virtual classes, recital / competition music shared, shared files, report their own absences. This would be a tremendous help to my teenage students!
YES! I agree that with this many votes please consider for sure. We live in a world now where most children as early as age 8 (that I have seen) now have devices and want access to files that teachers post. We have having to use other platforms for this. If there is a way to do this without them having access to transactions.
Is DSP going to consider this any time soon? Especially since this has 160 votes and it is almost 3 years old..
Videos, music, costumes, class notes... These are only valuable to the students themselves. There needs to be separate access available to them.
This would be great. I currently use Band for a lot of these purposes, but it would be nice to have everything in one place.
100% this!!! We are forever trying to tell our parents to share the links with their dancers, but if they are able to have their own login this would make it so much easier, especially for those older dancers who are able to have that little bit more independence.
Is there any movement on this? It would really help with practicing! Also, the kids could see the store, but maybe put items on their wishlist for their parents. They could see classes they want to take, etc.

This would be brilliant so students can log in and see their class videos or have access to class music to practice at home
