Withdraw from credit on account instead of card on file for payment plans

We have parents that have credits on their account - they pay early, work the desk, etc. So some revenue credit and some non-revenue credits. We need parent payment plans to pull from these credits if they're positive instead of processing the card on file. We would really like it to process the credit and not their card but be able to track their monthly payment plans.
