the idea here is for DSP staff to send out an email to DSP users on a regular basis that would go something like this...
Little Sally calls in sick and will return in 10 days. Instead of emailing her f our instructors - go to notes - write the note - click on 'seen by teacher' and enter the expiry date.
Next time the instructor takes the roll call - the note will appear under Sally's name.
That to me is a 'Hidden Gem" of DSP.
