Parents have a hard time keeping track of their children's classes. Add in competition rehearsals and other things and it's a pain to manage. As instructors and studio owners, we are constantly getting emails from parents asking about rehearsals and confirming.
What would be great is if we could set up a calendar (like the one in the system already) where parents can see it on their end. However, it would be imperative that the parents can ONLY see the classes or rehearsals for what their child is enrolled in, so they aren't seeing other rehearsal information. Also, it's tailored specifically to the family/parent rather than the parent having to sift through every class/rehearsal on the calendar to figure out which rehearsal is their child's.
Yes this definitely exists as I use this exact feature all of the time! I set up all of my competitive routines as classes, enrol the dancers at the beginning of each season like we would with regular classes. We have regular scheduled weekly rehearsals for each class but if I add extra rehearsals, we just use the extra class function. Parents are only seeing the rehearsals and classes for their own child in their calendar.
