Add Note/Save Note buttons and window functionality

The placement of the Save Note button always throws me off. I keep expecting it to be at the top of the window. It's easy to close the window without saving by mindlessly clicking Add Note again and closing the window. I know because I've done it more than once.

What should be happening is (1) Click Add Note. The Save Note button is disabled but to the right of Add Note. (2) Start entering the note. (3) Add Note becomes disabled once you start typing and Save Note is enabled. Ideally there would be a Cancel and warning prompt if you try to close the window without saving.
