Actually it wouldn’t be particularly difficult. The database already has the dancer names, and it’s certain that the different siblings have different key values, so having a placeholder text that could be added to emails based on the proper key-value pairs isn’t all THAT much more difficult. Unfortunately outside email tools aren’t integrated enough that sending transactional emails and emails to specific classes or teachers or groups isn’t a massive annoyance. You can’t, for example, select the class or group or students and then the ‘send email’ open the external email application to build the email with the selected group.
This can be done by connecting to an outside email tool like Constant Contact or Mailchimp. There are some reasons why we wouldn't want to implement this though too - if you pick 10 classes to email and you have siblings in multiple classes, then you'd need to send the parent multiple emails with multiple names or stack names, etc. It would also get confusing.
I dont want to have to use and pay for another tool when everyhting is already here.
