It would be great if an "Email Parent" option could be added to the drop down menu "Parent Actions" on the Parent Summary page. If I am in a parent's profile and want to send them an email it is time consuming to have to go back out to the parent dashboard and search for the parent, select them and then select to email them.
Would also be great to have a similar "Email Student" option in the "Student Actions" drop down in the Student Summary page for the same reasons.

This particular function does not exist.
As per image below there is no way to email the parent directly from their
summary page. You have to go back out to the parent dashboard which is a
waste of time. You can email their portal login but you can't send them a
normal email.
It would be great if an email parent option could be added to the buttons
on this page.

You can email a parent directly from their Parent Page! Go to their Parent Summary page > scroll down to the Email field > click on the envelop symbol next to their email address to email just that parent!
This just makes so much sense that you should be able to email a parent from their summary page. Instead you have to back out, clear to the Parent main page and click the checkmark next to a parent name, then click on the options to email selected parent. It just really doesn't make sense to have to initiate an email that way!!!! It's just a part of what makes this software so non-intuitive, you put options in weird places and they're not in normal places, like on the parent page.
