Right now, the system only allows us to enter a student present or absent when taking attendance. And when you run the report, you see a check mark or an X. At our studio we like to to use our attendance to track other things too. For example, holidays, lateness, excused absences, watching in class, etc... Is there a way to add these options? That way on the report, we could see H - holiday, L - late, W - watching, E - excused? Or is there somewhere else to track this info and get a report in the system that I have not yet found? Thank you!
We track attendance for our company members, so it would be nice to be able to mark their absence as excused. We still want to have record that they were not in class, but want to be able to pull their attendance data and have those excused absences not count towards an absence.
on the attendance app you can list late and give reason - it also needs to contain leaving early
AND, in the system when entering absences under a student you can only input the absence not late or leave early so I can not pre-code that for my teachers to see like I can with absences.
Also, I agree that this should be notated differently on the report so we can see details. H - holiday, L - late, W - watching or O - observing, LE - left early, V - virtually present
Right now in the class manager app you can only select absent/present/late.
Online under the student/attendance you can only input a new absence but not a known late arrival/leave early.
Need a way class manager to indicate the student is:
present in person
present virtually
observing - i.e present but not dancing - and give reason (due to injury for example)
absent - and give reason
arrived late - and give reason AND what time arrived (or how late they were ex. 5 mins)
left early - and give reason AND what time leaving (or how early leaving ex. 15 mins)
Need a way in student/attendance/log new absence to indicate in advance that the student will be :
observing - i.e present but not dancing - and give reason (due to injury for example)
absent - and give reason
late - and give reason AND what time arrived (or how late they were ex. 5 mins)
leaving early - and give reason AND what time leaving (or how early leaving ex. 15 mins)
We really need to be able to mark present virtually vs. present in studio
