Inactive classes not to be listed when allocated to a season

When a class is marked as no longer active due to reasons such as insufficient numbers, timetable changes etc., they appear on the "Inactive Classes" list even though they are attached to a season.

This causes confusion as they just sit on the list.... To remove them, I've had to go in one by one to make them "active" again. This is counter-intuitive as they are not "active" and will continue to show on reports etc.

My suggestion is that once a class is not active, but allocated to a season, they stay with the season classes but as inactive. It's time wasting to go back and forth marking them "inactive" and then "active" when the seasons finish, and to be honest, it doesn't make sense.
