What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Having to try and split and calculate the payments on each child when their fee amounts are different |
How should this work? |
You should be able to just set the payment plan up on the whole families total, that way the amounts just go across all children under that family without having to do individual payment plans. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin team and families as it results in 1 student being in a credit and the other being in a debt. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
It will make our admin team take less time setting up families account. |
What I started doing is charging the family account under one child's account and note it on the account that tuition is billed under " so and so". So if Bob, Mary and Sara are all taking classes the amount totals 142.00 per month, I will bill all of their accounts under Bob's transactions and will click "do not charge" on the other two's accounts. It works great as we discount for multiple kids or multiple classes and I do not have to break up or figure out each kids tuition. The parents know when they come in to give me the last name, when I pull up the account I just go to the one who everyone is billed on. It take seconds to do and get there.
