What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Whenever a parent schedules a drop in, they pay the drop in fee at that time. If they need to reschedule, the only option we have right now is to add the new date. When the teacher marks them HERE TODAY and chooses between Drop In and Drop In and Paid, the system bills them for $25. They already paid and there is no way to reschedule without the system doing this. |
How should this work? |
Have the ability for a family to either reschedule/change the day of their drop-in class through the Parent Portal OR create the option to mark a drop-in present without billing them. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin because we have to go in the back end to do all of this rescheduling and make sure the client doesn't get double charged. Staff because they won't bear the weight of having to log a payment while they're taking attendance in class. That's a front desk responsibility. Parents because they won't get double charged for a class they already paid for and just needed to reschedule. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
It will help us streamline the drop in process and avoid clients reaching out concerned that they already paid for a class and because they had to reschedule, they got charged again. |
