Add a setting to forward incoming calls on the Studio Pro phone number to a number we choose, instead of callers getting a busy signal.

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

The Studio Pro number can send and receive texts and place outbound voice messages, but it cannot receive calls. Anyone who dials it gets a busy signal. This matters because that number is the one parents see on every text we send, so it is the number they naturally call back. Today: a parent with an urgent question (running late, sick child, pickup change) hits a dead end, and a prospective family who got a registration text calls and assumes we are out of business. There is no workaround available to us. You cannot attach a "call this other number instead" message to a busy signal.

How should this work?

One setting in phone/text settings: a toggle for "Forward incoming calls" plus a field for the destination number. When enabled, inbound calls to the Studio Pro number ring the number we enter (front desk, cell, or existing office line). When disabled, behavior stays exactly as it is today. An optional short recorded message before the transfer would be nice but is not required for this to be useful. Underlying telephony providers support call forwarding as standard configuration, so this should be a small change relative to the impact.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

Admins and staff, who currently lose inbound calls they never even know happened. Parents and prospective families benefit most directly, since they get a person instead of a busy signal. This is not studio-specific: every customer using two-way texting inherits this problem the moment they send their first text, so the whole customer base benefits.

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

Right now we cannot use the Studio Pro number as our public-facing phone number, which undercuts much of the value of having it. We maintain a separate line and repeatedly explain to families which number does what. With forwarding, the Studio Pro number becomes one number families can either text or call, texts stay logged in Studio Pro where they belong, and calls reach a human. It closes a gap in parent communication that we currently cannot even measure, because we never see the missed calls.
