What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Specifically, parents have to go find the photo opt out page if they want to prevent their student's photo being used. But this means that many parents just miss it and we end up having to ask permission to the parents anyway |
How should this work? |
The parents should be forced to sign at registration, and they should be given a yes or no choice to make a selection. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin will benefit because the parent choice will be clear. Parents will benefit because they will need to make a choice at registration and not have to find it in the portal later. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
We have had to delay postings to social media because we have been unsure of the parent's wishes regarding the use of photos. Most parents are not diligent about filling in all the fields unless they are required and they can't register an answer. |
