Report for Season total income paid or owed

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

Allowing us to see revenue or fees owed from a specific camp, program, full dance season or mini session.

How should this work?

As dance studios often run multiple season (full season, mini sessions, camp workshops) how can I see a list of what is paid or owed in total for a particular season? This would also help to know if the particular season was profitable from year to year. There are a great number of reports available but none that utilize the use of fees owed or paid by season specifically. Quite often seasons overlap so the use of date ranges does not work. Eg. Running evening classes 3 nights a week for 6 weeks in the summer and then multiple day camps over the same period of time.
