Unselecting Seats for Tickets


What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

It should be possible to unselect seats, after selecting them. It does not hold them for five minutes. I tested my tickets last night around 10 or 11PM. Ticket sales opened at 12PM today! Every seat that I had clicked on was still showing as unavailable, and it still is now. This was the entire front row, and one seat in each row. Then, we had tried to purchase tickets for the first two customers (who now could not get seats in the front row), I clicked their seats, but when I put in their information, the seats were still selected, but not showing as theirs. Now, those seats are unpurchasable. Furthermore, I selected that only parents with students in the show could purchase tickets. When we go to "Sell in Person" this rule should apply. Something should pop up saying this person cannot buy tickets.

We should be able to unselect seats.

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

If this is not fixed, TicketPro is completely unuable, and we will all have to find other ticket suppliers. We have to be able to sell all seats that are available, and we cannot be perfect. We may click on a seat accidentally.
