Helpful to know when someone makes a large payment and reviewing their payment history to see it listed by itself versus just broken down into the various items it's applied to. Ex: $1,000 payment that gets applied to 6 different entries due on a variety of dates. Can be very difficult to track back when trying to review an account later on. |
How should this work? |
Allow the lump sum payment to register as a line item of its own accord and then show the items its being applied to. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Staff and families will both benefit by seeing the statement showing when a payment was made when looking back on the account history |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
For accounts that have debits over a long period of time (many months) and then make a payment, it's hard to keep everything "bundled" and keep track of what each payment covered. |
