We would like the ability to share files in the Parent Portal exclusively with current students. Right now, any parent who has ever created an account can access shared documents, even if they are no longer enrolled. This makes it difficult to manage privacy and distribute information efficiently. |

You can upload files to specific groups of students that you have created, such as "Company." I previously worked with a group of 80-100 company dancers, and we would share files specifically with these groups by following these steps:
1. Go to the Student List page.
2. Click on "More" and then select "Check all in group" to choose the group you want to share with.
3. In the "Student Action" dropdown at the bottom, you'll find the option to "Upload a file" or "Add a note" for that specific group of students.
This sharing functionality is limited to the group you've selected. We had different groups for the company, such as "Company" (for all company students), "Mini Company," and "Junior Company", etc.
Please remember that if a student leaves the group, you need to manually remove them, as they will no longer be a part of it. The group option is also useful when sending emails or texts specifically to our Company dancers or recreation students.
We would like to share files with our Company members/parents only. They are all in a 'Group' so choosing 'share with group' and then 'specify group' would be so efficient.
