What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Currently, the photo opt-in/opt-out is for a whole family's account rather than individual students. Our studio has kids and parents from the same family enrolled in classes, and the parents are ok for photos to be posted of them, but not their kids. |
How should this work? |
This should be individualised to each student. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
This will benefit everyone. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
It doesn't impact us, but it will make this process a lot easier and less confusing for those families that this situation applies to. |
This actually already exists, at least from the admin side (I just tried it out with one of my families with multiple dancers to make sure).
From your own account, go to the summary page for the student and scroll all the way down. "Do not post public photos" is the last checkbox on the page. If you click the box on that page and hit save, it only makes the change for that particular student, not any of the family members.
I don't know if this can also be done by the parents in their portals (I don't give my students the no photos option unless a parent comes to me with extenuating circumstances, so I can't try it out in my test account).
