What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

There is no specific category for this. Our studio does not use the parent portal function as only a few parents are interested in it enough to ever log on. There is so much to this app that can also meet the needs of records keeping without online pmt. registration etc.

How should this work?

Having an off line platform that still has student accounts, transactions, costumes/sizes etc. add parent, student, etc and an online for those who accept online pmts. registration etc through the parent portal.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

Our business is over 40 years old, our owner is 73 and has been teaching since she was 13 and has been owner for the past 30 plus years. She doesn't want a lot of computer fan fair, just the ability for simple record keeping, printing reports, and student account pmts. and information record keeping.

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

Having a choice of which to use would help those like myself who constantly need to filter through all of hundreds of links for everything rather than being able to just build what I need to function for her as her office mgr. I have links in my Fav. folder for reports that I access, after 2 years, I am still going through trying to find only the reports, info, pages, instructions that would apply just to our needs. Her online activity is ordering costumes and accepting payments through pay pal which we do with a separate process that the laptop cannot use. If I could use the app and simply move from the left to the right the functions that we use and then when anyone opens the app, in my absence, they can find everything they need for her at a glance.
