What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Makes several actions be combined into 1 click saving time and screen changes |
How should this work? |
Having a check box for Paid in full accounts should allow user to click box when account is paid in full which would stop further tuition charges, late fee's with just a click. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin and parents. Saves admin time, keeps parents happy as they won't accidently get charged tuition or late fee's when accounts are paid in full at the beginning or early one in the season. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
This will help greatly as now I waste time adding PIF notes to accounts, going to "stop tuition until this date" actions, adding end dates for when info is no longer needed (like the end of the season-so that it is gone by the start of the next season) all accomplished in one click that is pre-determined under tools or settings for the (check box) action. |
I added "Paid in full" so that the last payment of the season will be reflected as Paid in full. It is easy to see when looking at transactions and seems to be a good work around for fast paced studios like ours, I process payment after payment throughout the month and this has helped greatly. I would still love a button that would allow a paid in full account to be auto set with a click during payment to reflect no future payments, and account paid in full for all areas of reference
I should have used the term "admin" rather than user in How should this work. I have had 8 parents who paid their child's tuition in full last week. If I could have just checked "paid in full" at the end of the transaction I would not have had to go to "stop payment through this date" function, save it then as we do at our studio, make a note for the parents and for other sub-admins/office managers that the account is paid in full. I would have at the end of the transaction clicked a box for paid in full which would automatically do those functions including sending out a statement to the parent.
