We use older students as junior teachers in our younger age group classes. The junior teachers help out the teacher through out the class. We would like to add the junior teacher to our attendance sheets, but do not want to charge them for the class since they volunteer for this.
What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
This adds the student to our class list without charging the student for a class they volunteer to help out with. They get credit for volunteer hours through their school and we can keep track of the hours to submit if needed. |
How should this work? |
Junior Teachers would be listed under class functions. We would be able to add the student that volunteers to this class with out charging them for the class. They would also be listed on the attendance sheet as Junior teachers so it's easy to take attendance |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin and staff benefit by knowing who the junior teacher is and recording their attendance. They can also receive emails when emailing the class. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
It would be very helpful to have all the information in one place. |
