send parent s to the portal...the more we do this the better! Trains parents to go to the portal ...absences, music, costume info, calendar info....everything:) |

Streamline communication...takes another thing off the "to do" list for the front desk that is always so busy!:) |
You can have parents log absences; you just have to turn that option on. I am working on my family now to route them that way. I let them know that this way, the teacher can know, and the front office does not have to interrupt class with their call or email regarding an absence. A more prominent icon would be more beneficial.
