We would like to know if it would be possible to add an "all" selection to the Income by Transaction code report.
What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
We need to track income by location and by transaction code. Currently if we wish to get that information we have to run the report for each transaction code and then download each report. Then get all of the individual reports into one spreadsheet where we can sort/manipulate the data into the format that we need. |
How should this work? |
If you added and "all" selections (which I see is available on some other reports, we could bypass all that extra effort and get that report by running just the all selection. This would save us a huge amount of time |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Accounting will benefit greatly by this as it will streamline the process. It also, helps management and outside accountants/consultants in making management decisions based on what areas of the business are profitable or not. |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
Unfortunately, our old system handled this seamlessly and It wasn't until the software was implemented that accounting realized it cannot easily access this needed information. As you can see we break our business down into several locations/departments and several transactions codes. We are not large enough to be able to employ a full time accounting professional and the time required to get the information we need is too great especially when there appears to be a possible fix/enhancement that could be made. |
