Can parents opt their child into recital via the parent portal

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

At our school, each child chooses whether or not they are going to participate. This would allow for parents to continue to use the parent portal as the hub for all studio stuff, rather than having to fill out a different form or even a paper form. This would also save us from having to manually enter recital participants.
