What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Reduction of mundane repetitive and redundant tasks. Less manual actions = less human error. Less work for admin. Removes extra tedious steps that are easily forgotten about. |
How should this work? |
When a student is enrolled into a class, they are automatically considered 'active' or when a student is taken out of all classes, their status should automatically become inactive. So their status is simply based on whether or not they are enrolled in any class. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admin and Managers |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
We will have a more accurate active student listing and it will reduce redundant steps. One has to enroll a dancer AND THEN mark them as active. Seems redundant. If they're in a class, they are active. If they have no class, they are inactive. I don't understand the benefit of having a student in a class but being able to still have them considered inactive. Or having a student with no enrolment, yet considered active. Please help me understand. If there is no reason, then why have this two step process or even this option? It really feels like extra tedious steps that are easily forgotten about. |
