The main issue we are having with DSP is the fact that when you DROP a student from a class, the tuition balance is not adjusted and there is no option to SWITCH them.
Our old software system used to adjust the family's balance when a class was dropped dependent on the date. If they dropped mid way through the term, the system would adjust based on the week's they did attend. The system would ask us before completing the drop at what date do we want them removed from the class so that the tuition can be recalculated.
Some students also register late so their tuition should be a pro rated amount. Again, the system should automatically do this if they know our term dates and the tuition amounts.
Not having a system automatically adjust family's accounts when adding, dropping or switching classes in a term is VERY difficult. The tuition analyzer is not helpful.
ALSO: When a family enrols into classes. Their account should should the cost of each class and where the discounts were applied.
