Mass Ticket Scanning ability

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

We have shows with anywhere from 400-800 people in attendance. scanning tickets is a must to ensure people have not duplicated tickets. With the sheer number of attendees, we are looking for smoother & quicker ways to get guests into the venue. We have families with 6+ tickets, so a way to scan 1 QR code, that will scan all 6 tickets would be amazing.

How should this work?

2 ways it could be done. Via a DSP QR scanning app, that when you scan a QR code, the app pulls up ALL tickets bought in that order or by that email address, and you select the seats or the number of tickets that are walking in the door. OR when checking out, give the option to put all tickets on 1 QR code where when it scans, all tickets under that order are checked in.
