Flexible Monthly Fixed Fees


What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

Currently, the system allows for one fixed monthly fee per account. It would be helpful if the system allowed multiple fixed monthly fee options for the same family.

This would allow studios like ours to:

  • Offer customized payment plans for families with multiple dancers

  • Distribute fees across the season to fit families’ budgets

  • Reduce the need for manual adjustments or off-system tracking

This flexibility would make it easier for both the studio and our dance families to manage payments efficiently.

How should this work?

Under the fixed Fee option, have a drop-down menu that allows you to fill in different amounts per month.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

  1. Dance Families

    • Families with multiple dancers could have payments spread out in a way that fits their budget, without large, uneven monthly charges.

    • Reduces the need for manual payment arrangements or frequent reminders, creating a smoother experience.

  2. Studio Owners & Admin Staff

    • Reduces administrative workload by eliminating the need to manually track custom payment plans outside the system.

    • Minimizes errors and late payments caused by manual adjustments.

    • Improves customer satisfaction, as families feel supported and payment processes are simple.

  3. The Software Provider

    • Enhances the value of the platform, making it more versatile for studios with varying tuition models.

    • Increases user retention, as studios will rely on the software for all billing instead of using outside tools for custom plans.

Having the ability to set different fixed monthly fees per family would:
