What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
Manually reaching out to parents when a waitlist spot is available. |
How should this work? |
When a class spot opens up, parents will receive an email and message in their portal that the spot is now available for them to register. There should be an option to decline the opening or choose to register. If they decline, it will notify the next on the list. After, a notice will be sent to admin that the waitlist spot was filled. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Admins, Staff, and Parents |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
Reaching out to parents on waitlists can take many hours depending on how long it takes parents to respond, and how large the waitlist is. Waitlist registration could still be working in the background without manual admin work. |
