In Student Transaction Journal, Unpaid tab should reflect ANY charge UNPAID regardless of a due date or not

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

The challenge is locating unpaid charges without due dates. Due dates cause a mess when parents pay online for a charge more recent than a previous balance due. Our studio has resorted to not using due dates becuase of this issue. However, now each unpaid charge lacks the color code for past due or not. It would solve many issues and be more efficient if the tab marked "Unpaid" in the student journal would actually reflect unpaid balances.

How should this work?

Any unpaid charge, regardless of due date or not, should populate in the unpaid tab to help filter what needs to be collected.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

Admins, Super Users, Staff, and Parents who are consistently asking what they owe.

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

This will shave off a lot of time our bookkeeper and manager has to spend, individually undoing due dates, incorrect online payments, or eye strain trying to find what has or hasnot been paid with charges that don't have a due date. It will increase efficiency and streamline the proecss of finding an unpaid balance.
