Using Xero for accounting (but this could work with any other accounting software), the need to link up a payment to an outstanding debit only works if matching up the memo field, currently. This creates an issue when there are multiple memos that are the exact same.
There needs to be a unique ID or way to match a payment to a debit so that Zapier can push that payment into the accounting software, and apply it to the open debit/invoice so it's marked paid.
