Allow parents to book lessons that require multiple sessions and divide the payments up.

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

Allow lessons requiring multiple sessions to be booked online and have the payments divided between the sessions. IE Solo choreography lessons require 4 sessions. The total for all four lessons is $xxx.xx. Allow the parent to book the four sessions while in the system and split the payments. Currently, parents book the first lesson and we charge 1/4 of the fee. We then have to manually book the subsequent lessons and manually charge the fee.

How should this work?

Parents select the lesson. The system would present the required number of sessions spaced a predetermined time apart. Once the parent submits their requet, the admin approves the submission and the fees are charged to the portal on the selected dates.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

Primarily, the administrators, however, it will make the process of multiple session classes more clear to parents.

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

It will simplify the process of booking privates and free up time for other duties. We currently have people email the studio to request lessons, check with the teacher, manually book the lesson on the private lesson calendar, and manually charge the fees.
