Divide rates based on number of classes taken NOT evenly among students in a family

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve?

At the moment the I have the system set to 'add up classes and hours by family' however, the system will divide the rates evenly among the students in the family. For example if the family has 2 children and they take 3 classes between them, the total class rate is applied however the system automatically splits it in half so it lists that Sally takes 2 classes and the fee is $100 and Rebecca takes 1 class but the fee is also $100 because the total for 3 classes is $200.

How should this work?

At this time, there is not an option to change the way those rates are displayed. I would like it to divide the total amount based on the number of classes each child in the family takes. so it would say that Sallys fees are $133.33 and Rebeccas are $66.66.

Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)?

Admins, Staff and Parents

How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience?

I will no longer get emails from parents every time I send an invoice out asking why their child who only takes one class is being charged the same amount as their child who takes 3 classes. I will also be able to remove the part on my invoice that says "ignore the break down and just look at the total amount"

You could consider using the option to add classes and hours up by student, then it only looks at what each individual student is taking. For more help with this, please contact SP Support!
