What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
This allows teachers to note down students who come late to class each week, and for us to view this when looking at over all attendance. Teachers can then notify parents if they are unaware students are coming late. |

When marking the roll, there could be another button with a yellow or orange 'L', so we can mark either absent, present or late. |

This would really benefit me as teacher, this way I can talk to students if them being late to class is a regular occurrence. |
They can do that, using the Class Manager option under the Magic menu, then they can already mark the student as tardy and even add in a note for the teacher! Please contact SP Support for more help with this!
Office staff who receive phone calls about a child who will be late to class should be able to mark the student as "arriving late" so they're not marked absent first.
In the Class Manager, there is a tardy option, the orange option, which you can select and put a reason they were late as well, and if they are using paper roll sheets, they could consider putting an L in the check box. Please contact SP Support for more help!
