What is the point of the new landing page option in the elite version when it's essentially just having parents create an account and then requiring admin to manage and filter the leads? I was under the impression that the landing page would lead to a place where parents could register and pay and DSP would add them directly into the class. Essentially bypassing the need for the parent portal step when registering. The portal could then be used for all remaining management the parent needs to do.
All it's doing is generating a lead which sure, could be helpful, but isn't shortening the process.
Also, it would be helpful to have the ability to add photos or other enticing visuals. Currently this feature is not worth doubling the cost of the plan if it's not shortening the steps to actually getting confirmed registrations and revenue.
What DSP needs to support is studios being able to advertise specific programs, with customizable templates, and take registration and payment on one screen at the point of discovery. This is just common practice in service based platforms now and I will be using a third party option until DSP can offer this.
What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? |
We capture registration and payments in fewer clicks which is what all online registration based businesses need. Confused minds say now. |
How should this work? |
A single, customizable, landing page that can be assigned to a specific program that speaks directly to the registration list is imperative. This allows us to capture registration and payments before parents have a time to say "oh I'll come back to this and set up an account". The more steps it takes to get a registration and the payment the more likely we are to lose a sale whether due to confusion, or parents not having the time to set up an account, learn how the portal works, find their class, register, make the payment. |
Who will benefit (Admins, Staff, Students)? |
Parents, Admin, and general studio revenue |
How will this change impact your daily tasks or overall experience? |
Yes, infinitely. |
Okay. While I understand that that is an option, I still don't know that it fulfills what I'm hoping the landing pages will one day be able to offer.
I still do not feel that the functionality warrants a double in cost when it doesn't actually remove steps from discovery to paid enrollment.
I am hopeful that DSP will advance further with this and I look forward to greater ease of use when it does.

Paid trials can be used too. Please reach out to DSP Support for more help with this!
Hello,
My studio doesn't offer free trials so what do I do in this case?
Stefanie
You can consider enabling trials on your landing pages, then parents can enter their information, their student's information and select a trial all on one page. After that, they will need to follow the normal steps if they want to become a fully-enrolled parent and student. Please reach out to DSP Support if you need more help with this!
