I switched to DSP from The Studio Director. I have loved every single aspect of DSP except one. The costume section of Studio Director is significantly easier than DSP.
Studio Director will automatically take your costumes and sizes for a vendor and create a purchase order for you so all you have to do is add payment information and mail to vendor.
I also have a situation where several of our classes have different color costumes for different students for each song. I have no place to put the different colors into DSP and I cant see two sets of students each time so I have to remember off of the top of my head which students are getting which color.
On studio Director, you see all students in a particiular class then you can select which costumes students will be wearing underneath their name. I can select student X will wear costumes 1,2,5 for this class rather how DSP does it.
In DSP you have to go to each costume 1, 2, 5 seperately and remember how many students i previosuly selected for a certain color and then choose different ones for a new color.
Also just a text box solely for inputting the color would be great. I planned to use the notes section for notes to the parents but now I have to use that for colors
