Make it easier to select drop-in students to receive communication

Currently there is no way to select drop-in students when sending out texts or emails. There have been times when I needed to cancel a class or ask everyone to please park on a certain side of the lot and I have to go back and forth from the drop-in report to the student list to search and check them all.

What specific challenge or problem does this idea solve? It is difficult to send marketing communications or class updates to students who specifically attend Drop-in/Open classes. There is currently no way to do this. How should this work? ...
