Parent and Children Should be One Account

Parent and children should be one account. Lead trial children are not automatically given the same contact information as the parents. When I upload them into my mass text/email software, I have to put each one in individually. Why do parents ad their children not automatically have the same contact info? If a child has different contact info than their parent, they should have their own account.
