Input partial amounts for a fee without defaulting to total amount

Would be great if after selecting "pay for more than one thing" we could input partial amounts manually as well as a button to be able to apply to oldest items due first. If we want to input partial amounts, we have to do that individually on each line item versus all on one page. VERY TEDIOUS
