Hide class placement until a certain date

We need a way to hide a student's class in the parent portal? We are placing our students in their competition groups & don't want the parents to see this information until decisions are finalized. We don't want to disable online registration since they may have more than one student or be registering for classes that aren't in our competition groups. Just be able to "hide" certain classes in the parent portal withing a specific date range.
