Tuition Based on Family - Not Individual Students

Our monthly tuition is based on the total number of classes taken per household - not individual student. We charge $55 per month for the first class, $25 for each additional class.

So if Student A takes one class, it would be $55 per month.

If Student A takes two classes, it would be $80 per month, etc.

Likewise, if a family has Student A taking one class and Student B taking one class, to us, it is only two classes and would still be $80 per month.

If Student A would take one classes and Student B takes three classes, it would be $55 + $25 + $25 + $25 = $130 per month.

We would only want DanceStudio-Pro to show a total family tuition rate of $130 per month. We do not want to show individual student tuition - especially in the parent portal.

Currently, it appears to take the total family tuition of $130 and split it evenly between the amount of students within the family (Student A $65 and Student B $65). Depending on the amount of students in a family and the amount of classes each student takes the amounts spread across each student can look odd and has already had parents questioning tuition - ecspecially if one student continues and another student drops out.

Is this something that DSP can do and we just don't have it set-up correctly? It is one of the reasons we are questioning whether or not we should continue to try and use DSP.

The tuition column under the student can be hidden in the portal. Please reach out to DSP Support for help on this issue to see if we can get your tuition set up just right!
