Ideas Portal
Would be great to have multiple parents be able to be assigned to the student specificaly for the parent portal. Each parent would have there own login but would be able to see infometion for the student they are both assigned. This way divorced parents can see the information about the child they have together while still being able to add other students that are not with that same parent.
It would also be nice to have the ability to only show the percentage of the total cost owed to each parent. Some divorces are messy and financials are a sensitive subject! We need the ability to let parents see a student's schedule, but not necessarily all the financial info and history.
We use the fact that a family contact can get their own parent portal login for divorced parent scenario. Just have to pick which one is "primary". The only disadvantage to this scenario is the contact can't setup autopay but otherwise works great.
This is a great idea. We have divorced couples and I'm sure the one paying tuition would not really want the ex-spouse having access to being able to add classes without approval.
