Option to mark a student absent across multiple classes and days in cases of holidays and sickness

If there was an option to mark a student absent across multiple classes and days in cases of holidays and sickness it would help and save time. Currently we have to change the date for EVERY day on the register to do this. If a student attends 2, 3 or more days and multiple classes on each day it's far too long winded! Thank you

    Hi

    We don't' see how this can be done? We are still currently only able to
    mark a student absent from one class at a time and multiple classes by
    changing the date of each class. If we know a student is taking 5 classes a
    week and is on holiday for 2 weeks we have to do this process 10 times. Is
    there a better way to mark absences for this?
