Show an absence as erased when a make-up is logged

I award students for perfect attendance so it's important that their attendance report is accurate at the end of the year. Rather than manually erasing all of a student's make-up classes so that they can be added to the perfect attendance report, it would be easier if the system automatically erased that absence when a make-up class is logged.
