I'd love to have a way to generate a report of how many classes each student attended each month (or other custom period). Not how many absences, but how many Presents.
We charge based on number of classes taken, but our students can be flexible with their days. They also take lower level classes every week. For instance, If you're a level 3, you take 3 level 3 classes and one level 1 or 2 class each week. Since they can choose which session of each of these to take, they're registered in everything that's their level or lower, but don't need to attend them all, as long as they get their required total. That makes the absences report not very helpful for our setup, since everyone will have lots of absences. Being able to get a list of all active students and the number of classes they were marked present would let us bill them properly and would make this a viable portal for us to use.
Even better would be a spreadsheet of all class sessions for the month (or custom period) as columns and all students as rows, with every Present marked in the corresponding spot, and a total at the end for each student. Currently, we do this in Excel, and it's very labor intensive to enter it manually. I'm attaching a sample so you can see what I mean, since I don't think I'm describing it well.
If you can implement this, I'll absolutely sign up and go pro.
I love the feature set on your site, by the way. This has so much customization and a lot of great ideas and options. Fingers crossed this one makes it in, as everything else looks just right for us.
