At our studio, we charge tuition based on household / family and not individual student.
With our tuition pricing it makes it very confusing to both the parents and our staff. If we have 3 students each taking one or more classes, it takes the total cost of all classes, divides it evenly among the 3 students, and shows up on each student's tuition page (our parents don't need to see an individual student's break down because it doesn't show correctly for us).
It then is readded together - some times with the incorrect total (plus or minus a penny - depending on the rounding). It making it so fustrating that our owner, my wife, is considering not to use the tuition portion of DSP and go back to our set of three 3-inch binders... hahaha
Our tuition is $55 for the first class and $25 for each individual class - regardless if it is one student or multiple students within the same household / family.
