I will not be processing payroll through the time clock. I need to give the information to my CPA. I need a report that shows payroll detail by pay rate type. One that I can see the dates for the hours, or double check everything. Another that is a summary: Teacher A worked 5 hours at teaching rate and 2 hours at admin rate.
I agree that being able to log different departments would help with financial reports, and being able to see how much each different department is 'costing' the business, such as coaching/teaching, cleaning, front desk, private lesson, special event, etc
