It helps staff know if students have paid for the class in the drop-ins online, or if they need to pay the drop-in fee. They are also not added to the class number. So classes can go over capacity with drop-ins.
The roll sheets include the free trial students but not the paid drop-in students.
We also really want to be able to email the class and anyone who has dropped into class before so they are aware of news related to the class.
Yes! this is VERY important! If there is a substitute teacher, I need to be able to print the attendance sheets to give the sub. DSP will let me print the Roll Sheet for the regularly registered students, but that does not show the drop-ins! If I go to the drop-ins list, there is no print function at all! And even if the regular teacher looks at the drop-ins list, it doesn't show which ones are signed up for that specific day, and they have to look through the list of everyone who has ever done a drop-in with that class! This wastes too much class time! Please just make the drop-ins for that current day show up on the regular attendance page! thank you!
