This does not seem to be a problem with most people, but in NY state, clothing is state tax exempt. Meaning for all items except clothing, there is a 4% state sales tax and a 3% county sales tax, 7%. Great, so we can set sales tax to 7%. HOWEVER, clothing is only county sales tax, 3%. So, since this is the case, we cannot use the sales tax function in DSP, because there is only 1 amount! So I have to split it out after the payment is processed as sales tax = payment/(1+sales tax%). I cannot charge to their account for goods and then sales tax separate, because the sales tax is not always the same amount. So i have to charge it all as one charge, and then in separate accounting software, pull the paid funds and split it out (video link showing my progress to my wife and assistant, but 3-4 minutes in, i show where i have to post sales taxes separately from DSP) Requesting multiple sales tax types!
