Before Stripe....
At the end of the day, I ran this report:
Payments and Credits by Type report
It beautifully laid out my cash, check, card, and electronic payments and it was super easy for me to transfer those amounts to QuickBooks.
Since changing to Stripe, it has not been so easy.
It is because the money does not transfer the same day it is taken in. So now, I have to go into my Merchant Services, print the merchant services detail, and cross reference it to the Payments and Credit by Type report. What use to be so simple has become quite labor intensive for me.
I hope that you have an adequate solution. I have been trying to deal with this for a while and am frustrated. I just never had the time to write before. This has become such an issue for me that I am considering changing to another provider. I don't want to do that, however, if the answers you provide are not a solution that is the next step.
